At Robert Walters, we are looking for a Labor Relations Manager for an international industrial company based in Zaragoza.
Job responsibilities:
* Leads the negotiations of Collective Agreements and company agreements with union representation, preparing comparative studies with sectoral agreements and reference companies and establishing proposals for the basis of negotiation.
* Ensures that all labor policies and practices comply with current legal regulations.
* Maintains relationships with representatives of the Union Sections and the Works Council, participating in conflict resolution and adapting Company policies.
* Administers Labor Relations policies and procedures in the company and provides technical advice to Plant Management.
* Acts as a mediator in labor conflict situations, both individually and collectively, to prevent problems from escalating and affecting the social climate and/or the Company's competitiveness.
* Participates in the development and execution of plans for achieving and implementing new work philosophies.
* Studies and prepares action plans for achieving staffing objectives and advises company departments on these issues.
* Ensures compliance by employees under their supervision with policies, safety and environmental standards, and other established procedures.
* Ensures training of personnel under their supervision.
* Distributes tasks and priorities among their employees.
Job requirements:
* Academic requirements: University degree in Law. Other studies related to Labor Relations will be valued.
* Years of experience: A minimum of 10 years in similar positions, preferably in the industrial sector or international environments. Experience leading a team.
* Languages: Advanced knowledge of English (oral and written).
