WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE?
We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality to lead our quality management initiatives. The key responsibilities include:
* Managing the quality management system, ensuring procedures and instructions meet company standards.
* Creating and overseeing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for projects, communicating with clients, and evaluating supplier documents.
Accountabilities:
* Handling non-conformities, analyzing quality issues, and implementing corrective actions.
* Representing the company in quality discussions with clients.
* Approving and monitoring suppliers to ensure quality standards.
* Conducting quality controls on processes and products.
* Managing enamelling processes, evaluating customer specifications, and conducting laboratory tests.
* Deciding on manufacturing stoppages when necessary and communicating with the Head of Quality.
* Engaging with suppliers on non-conformities and monitoring rejections.
* Participating in continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizen and monitoring PDM.
* Collaborating with commercial and engineering teams on specifications and manufacturing feasibility.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours:
* Proficiency in English and Office tools.
* Postgraduate training in ISO 9001:2015, preferably with a master's in quality management.
* Desirable: Advanced engineering knowledge, 1-3 years in quality management, environmental and safety management knowledge, analytical skills, teamwork, thoroughness, ability to interpret drawings, work under pressure.
Complexity and Creativity:
* Autonomy, client interaction skills, problem-solving, process streamlining.
Judgement and Decisions:
* Autonomous decision-making in inspections and product acceptance/rejection.
Physical Work Environment:
* Residence in Cartagena (Murcia), willingness to travel 5%.
