We're always on the lookout for energetic, creative people to join our team.**The Job**Are you an experienced and well-motivated Drama Executive seeking to head up their own department?WBITVP are looking for a Head of Drama to manage the development, sales, production and delivery of the scripted TV output of the Company in delivering the highest quality programming.This is a senior creative and sales role, reporting directly to the MD of WBITVP Spain.In this role you will be able to leverage your existing talent relationships, creative expertise and client network to build and grow a Slate of quality scripted projects in order to meet the strategic goals of the Scripted department of the Company.**The Daily**- Identify and agree the development and growth strategy of the Scripted department, incorporating an understanding of wider strategic goals of WBITVP and the requirements of the local market, streaming clients and international TV markets.- Develop, sell and produce Drama projects that are creatively ambitious and professionally produced.- Maintain and leverage good relationships with key buyers at relevant broadcasters/ streamers and potential co-production partners/ distributors within the market.- Maintain and leverage good relationships with key creative talent, including writing and acting talents within the market.- Overall responsibility for strategy and execution of pitching concepts and projects to broadcasters/ streamers, securing development funding from them and other sources of funding.- Work closely with Producers, Production Management and Business Director to agree development budgets and full production budgets as projects are commissioned and greenlit.- Manage and allocate the scripted development budget including staffing and option payments.- Overall responsibility for management and execution of all Drama projects on the WBITVP slate.- Ability to manage multiple projects in different stages of development and production.- Communicate closely the WBITVP team on development slates and projects in production.- Input into the financial and operational performance reporting for the Scripted department and into the overall Company reporting process within WBD.**The Essentials**- Previous experience of working and communicating at a senior managerial level or in a similar role is essential.- Strong motivation, ambition and resilience required.- Proven track record of developing, selling and delivering high quality scripted projects within the territory.- Good relationships with broadcaster/ streamer commissioning teams and the local creative production community.- Experience of managing creative, development and production teams.- Good working knowledge of key talent, commissioning and development contacts within the market.- A good understanding of budget management and margin control.- An understanding of the international co-production and distribution markets.- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.**The Nice to Haves**- Experience of creating projects as co-productions or pre-sales within the Spain and LATAM region.- An understanding of IP contracts and optioning.- Experience of developing projects both from existing IP and original concepts.**Please Note**- You must have the right to work in Spain to be eligible**The Perks**- Exclusive WarnerMedia events and advance screenings- Paid time off every year to volunteer for eligible employees- Access to well-being tools, resources, and freebies- Access to in-house learning and development resources- Part of the WarnerMedia family of powerhouse brands
