Leon Cycle is an e-bike business established in Germany in 2014, with operations across over 10 countries in Europe, North America, and APAC. We offer a range of e-bike models, including mountain bikes, folding e-bikes, trekking e-bikes, and step-thru e-bikes. Our products are sold through our online website, e-commerce platforms, dealers, and retail stores worldwide.
Due to strong growth and expansion, we are seeking a Sales Professional to join us as a Business Development Manager in Barcelona. The responsibilities of our BD Manager include but are not limited to:
1. Developing a network of bike dealers and franchise shops within the region for B2B sales via business development activities such as phone calls and dealer visits.
2. Maintaining, nurturing, and servicing existing and new dealers for pre-sales and after-sales matters.
3. Managing the full P&L of offline sales activities within the region and city.
4. Collaborating with Barcelona headquarters to execute offline retail marketing campaigns, and attending tradeshows and cycling fairs in the region.
5. Communicating with Barcelona HQ on operational matters, sales operations, and sales forecasts.
The ideal candidate should possess:
1. 8-12 years of relevant experience in dealer network business development and B2B sales within the sporting goods, consumer goods, or bikes/e-bikes industry, with preference given to those with e-bikes and electric mobility experience.
2. Experience in establishing and developing a business sales network and retail operations.
3. Strong self-discipline and ability to work independently with a focus on sales results.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Experience in developing dealer networks.
6. Previous entrepreneurial experience is highly regarded.
