A leading company in the healthcare sector is currently looking for a Construction Project Manager to join its team in Madrid.
Our Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of construction and refurbishment projects within healthcare environments, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory and quality standards, while meeting budget and schedule objectives.
Key responsibilities
* End-to-end management of construction and refurbishment projects in healthcare facilities.
* Definition, control and monitoring of project budgets, timelines and scope.
* Anticipation, detection and mitigation of technical, regulatory and financial risks.
* Management of tender processes and selection of contractors and technical consultants.
* Coordination and supervision of on-site works, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
* Monitoring of milestones, certifications and administrative documentation.
* Review, approval and integration of project modifications.
* Ongoing resolution of technical issues during construction and implementation of corrective measures.
* Quality control across all project phases.
* Regular reporting to internal stakeholders, including risk analysis and project status.
* Technical review and analysis of documentation for new and ongoing projects.
* Advisory role regarding construction risks, operational impact, maintenance complexity and long-term costs in healthcare environments.
Requirements
* Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
* Proven experience managing construction projects, ideally in regulated or technical environments (healthcare, industrial facilities, etc.).
* Solid knowledge of project management applied to construction.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, materials and technical standards.
* Good knowledge of applicable regulations and quality requirements.
* High level of English (C1 at least).
* Experience with project/construction management software tools.
