Overview:
You will be part of **Celanese European tax team**, and will manage the European Corporate Income tax compliance & reporting and tax planning. This person will report to the Sr. Director Tax, EMEA and potentially lead a team in the future.
**Responsibilities**:
**YOU will be involved in the following tasks**:
- Support the General tax reporting team on the quarterly tax provisions by closely working with outside consultants
- Manage with outside consultants preparing quarterly FAS 109 tax provision packages and review of the tax packages
- Manage and update FIN 48 positions
- Manage with outside consultants filings of corporate income tax returns in EMEA region
- Manage tax account reconciliation, quarterly cash tax reporting
- Manage the timely preparations and reviewing tax journal entries
- Manage corporate tax accounts in SAP
- Support tax planning projects with Business, Finance, Treasury and Legal
- Support Transfer Pricing Department on TP adjustments
- Support tax planning team on tax modelling and calculation of tax impact of tax planning strategies
- Liaise with outside consultants
Qualifications:

- Degree in tax is preferred
- University degree with at least 7 years’ professional experience in tax accounting in a big 4 firm or in global industry firm
