My client, a leading global multi-million-dollar technology and engineering organisation, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their European commercial team. This senior, customer-facing Business Development Manager role is focused on driving new revenue, developing long-term partnerships, and managing the full sales cycle across multiple European markets, while also contributing to regional growth strategy in close collaboration with internal technical and sales teams.
You will focus on new customer acquisition, converting opportunities into long-term partnerships, and building relationships with both technical and commercial stakeholders. This role involves managing complex sales cycles including design-in and solution development processes, alongside close work with internal teams to support pipeline growth and lead generation. The Business Development Manager will also represent the business at industry events and customer meetings, taking full ownership of their pipeline and operating with a high level of autonomy to deliver sustained new business success.
The ideal Business Development Manager will bring a strong commercial mindset, a proactive approach to business development, and the ability to influence stakeholders across different cultures and organisational levels. A background or understanding of engineered or electronic solutions would be highly beneficial.
