About the Role
Monitors the company's budget to help the HoldCo and Country Management make decisions to face risks and opportunities.
Responsible for preparing the monthly end closings as well as reporting to Corporate/Shareholders.
Ensures compliance with the company's budget, proactively follow business and operational plans.
Provide all the economic/financial analysis needed with Corporation/Shareholders.
What You’ll Do
* Ensure correct development of financial activities, including accounting, financial analysis, audit, tax, credit and collections at a country level.
* Assure correct implementation of financial plans and policies at a country level.
* Establish and maintains accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls at a country level.
* Prepare the monthly end closing. Monitors/evaluates the performance and progress of the key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Maintain relationships with banking communities.
* Coordinate the annual budget, proposing objectives based on the strategic plan. Support the approval of the annual budget.
* Summarize and present the budget agreements reached with the different areas/departments and communicates the critical points to achieve the agreement.
* Propose concrete plans of improvement actions according to the assessed risks or analyzed budget deviations.
* Control accounting and treasury. Reviews the annual/monthly closing carried out for the different areas/departments.
* Understand the needs for improvement: expansion/reduction and manage their authorizations according to the annual guidelines to be met.
* Provide data to external or group audits to defend the accounts.
* Prepare financial information packages for Board of Directors / Internal Committees.
What We’re Looking For
Education
Degree in Economics, Business & Administration or similar.
Languages
* English – Must-have, Advanced
* Official country language – Valuable, Advanced
Tools & Systems
* Excel – Must-have, Advanced
* SAP Finance – Must-have, Advanced
Experience
* At least 5 years of experience in consultancy / audit firm, an internal audit department or telecommunications business.
