The Lead Business Development is a member of the company’s Ventures team. He/she is an office-based professional with ability to travel often for numerous professional reasons, with substantial market research understanding and who is responsible for inventing, performing and supporting, market research initiatives for variable medicinal products and therapeutical areas.
Your main responsibilities
- Working in coordination with the rest of the team, following the client journey from A to Z: from the first contact with new clients (pharmaceutical companies) to closing deals and further cooperation
- You will lead the business cases in the CEE region and will work in collaboration with the team to consolidate the overall presentation to the external company/potential client
- You will be using the primary (through interviews with external stakeholders, mainly key opinion leaders) and secondary (through the literature and other sources, like databases searches) market research in order to provide insights and analysis
- You will assist in examining and understanding the CEE pharmaceutical market and will be instrumental in competition analysis to provide in-depth strategic intelligence for business development purposes
- Through the acquired knowledge and experience you will proactively identify and propose business opportunities to further develop the business in CEE
- You will work with physicians - experts in the respective therapeutical areas
- You will prepare a written analysis and summary report for the research insights
Your Qualifications
- PhD \ MD Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry
- Ideally with thorough knowledge of business and product development and market access regulations for the CEE innovative pharmaceutical / biotech market
- demonstrating the exemplary cooperation, highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders such as medical doctors, pharmaceutical companies, company team members etc
- Willing to travel including country and international travel
