Experteer Overview In this role, you lead procurement and contract management for multiple data center construction projects in Spain, partnering with cross-functional teams to implement sourcing strategies that meet budget and schedule. You oversee post-contract administration, change orders, and supplier negotiations to ensure cost efficiency and risk mitigation. You will contribute to Microsoft’s Cloud Operations and Innovation by steering complex projects across the EMEA build program. This position offers hands-on site work with substantial cross-team collaboration and a strong emphasis on safety culture.Compensaciones / Beneficios - Lead sourcing and procurement planning for General Contractors, Architects & Engineers, Commissioning Agents, and Project Managers - Develop sourcing plans and negotiation strategies to meet metro contracting goals on budget and schedule - Evaluate suppliers and recommend contract awards;
ensure compliance with Microsoft contracting requirements - Manage post-award contract execution, commercial decisions, and project closeout - Lead Change Order negotiations and mitigate impact through cross-functional collaboration - Coordinate with stakeholders to manage project risks, payment disputes, and notices - Provide status updates on issues and mitigations to leadership - Support continuous improvement through data analytics and IT tool deployment - Collaborate with Planning, Cost Management, Engineering, and Construction teams to drive commercial compliance - Lead negotiations with contractors and manage subcontractor awards for each trade package - Ensure safety culture and alignment with Microsoft values during execution - Maintain regular communication with site stakeholders on commercial issues - Facilitate and document procurement deliverables and final recommendations for subcontractorsResponsabilidades - 7+ years of dedicated construction experience - Bachelor in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Supply Chain or construction related field - 3+ years of people management experience - 3+ years (preferably) in construction portfolio role across multiple parallel projects;
