A leading insurance company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to guide our financial future and support our growth.

Mission : To ensure financial sustainability and scalability by leading and executing strategic financial initiatives with a focus on efficiency and long-term vision.
Key Responsibilities :
* Financial Strategy & Leadership : Define and implement the global financial strategy aligned with our growth objectives. Serve as a trusted advisor to the Co-CEOs and Executive Board. Promote a data-driven, results-oriented culture that balances ambitious growth with financial stability.
* Planning, Control & Reporting : Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Provide clear, actionable financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Oversee accounting, tax compliance, cash flow, and regulatory reporting.
* Business Partnering & Scalability : Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and growth teams to inform strategic decisions. Evaluate new business opportunities from a financial perspective. Optimize costs, automate processes, and enhance financial management practices.
* Financial Operations & Controls : Manage settlement and reconciliation processes with insurance carriers, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Oversee monthly reconciliations with strategic partners.
* Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations. Develop and maintain a robust risk management framework. Uphold integrity, ethics, and transparency across finance functions.
Requirements :
1. 5+ years in senior finance roles, preferably within scaleups, insurtechs, or digital-first companies.
2. Proven experience in corporate finance, accounting, analysis, and strategic planning.
3. Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
4. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
5. Analytical, proactive, and collaborative mindset with a global outlook.
6. Ability to lead through uncertainty and develop high-performing finance teams.
Schedule : Full-time, flexible hours (7.5 hours / day).
Location : 100% remote, with an option to work from our Barcelona office if desired. Candidates must be Spanish residents with legal work authorization.
