Role Overview
\n
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
\n
Finance Modelling to join our client’s team in Madrid.
\n
Responsibilities
\n
Financial Modelling activities addressing all commercial, technical and financial parameters of the projects for debt financing structuring,
\n
project valuation
\n
(both greenfield or acquisition of projects in different stages of development) including sensitivity analysis.
\n
Managing and follow up financial close process in Europe by iterating with the internal teams involved in the process (Technical, Legal, Tax, FP&A;) as well as with the financial institutions.
\n
Preparation of financial models for renewable energy tenders and/or PPA .
\n
Drafting materials for internal investment approvals, financial close processes and asset sale processes; among others.
\n
Provide support in all activities associated with debt and equity investment processes (due diligence, documentation review, etc…)
\n
Supporting the
\n
Head of Structure Finance & M&A; in the negotiation on the financing terms and conditions with financial entities for the projects carried out by the unit as well as on the final negotiation of the closing project finance documentation.
\n
Iteration with financial institutions during the financial close process.
\n
Drafting of presentations and materials for a diversity of internal and external stakeholders and purposes (i.e. project updates, investment approvals, market analysis, etc…)
\n
Providing assistance to other departments on the main characteristics and conditions to be met by the Project contracts – such as EPC Contract, O&M; Contract, Shareholder Agreement -in order to facilitate the financing of the projects.

Requirements
\n
Demonstrable Financial Modelling experience, including building financial models from scratch with full modelling of financial statements and with special focus on non-recourse project financing models.
\n
Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally in
\n
Finance or another quantitative or technical field (as engineer)
\n
+3 years’ experience in corporate finance, financial advisory, project finance and/or debt structuring practices as well as experience in structured finance and M&A; execution processes in the renewable energy sector
\n
Familiar with structured finance and
\n
M&A; execution processes, especially non-recourse financing structures. xugodme

Project Management skills to lead the rest of the department (Technical, Legal, Tax, FP&A;, etc) towards the execution of project finance and M&A; transactions.
