This is what you can expect
The Parts Laboratory at ALTER TECHNOLOGY covers a very wide range of activities oriented to provide confidence for the use of Electronic Components in space and other high reliability applications. The services offered varies from receiving inspection to complete evaluation and qualification of IC’s and systems.
Integrated into the Electrical Test Laboratory, the Electronics Technician will be responsible for the performance of electronic test in accordance with the production plan, by following standard operating procedures, test specifications and reporting. The candidate will also be responsible for provide technical support and helping to drive the improvement of production performance.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
4. Perform testing of Electrical, Electronic and Electro-mechanical devices using laboratory set-up such as fixtures, power supplies, electronic measurement instruments and software programs.
5. Carry out environmental testing of Electrical, Electronic and Electro-mechanical devices using temperature/humidity chamber, oven, thermal shock chamber, etc
6. Supervision of tests conditions and results.
7. Preparing reports to record work summaries and test results
This is what we expect
SKILL NEEDS:
8. A two-year associated degree in electronics or related field
9. Three years of full-time experience directly related work with electronic laboratory equipment.
10. Strong electronic background.
11. Interpreting schematics, test plans and specifications to determine procedures.
12. Computer skills (MS Office, excel, etc).
13. Autonomy for the realization of the assigned tasks and their development.
14. Communication fluently in English (demonstrable B2 at least). Other languages skills will be an asset.
DESIRABLE:
15. Experience of Altium Schematic capture, Layout tools and PCB manufacture.
16. PCB assembly and wires soldering
17. Software programming (VBA, C++, Python) and automation experience.
ABILITIES:
18. Experienced in working in multidisciplinary environment.
19. Self-driven learner, motivated and proactive attitude.
20. Solving Problems: Identifying, defining and assessing problems, acting to address them.
