As we scale our operations and open our new Madrid office , we are looking for a legal "engine" to ensure our foundation is rock-solid and our people are protected.

The Role: This is not a role for a theorist.

We are looking for a highly practical, execution-oriented Corporate & Employment Legal Counsel .

You will be the legal heart of our Spanish operations, ensuring that our contracts are flawless, our office administration is seamless, and our employment practices are 100% compliant with local laws.

You will report directly to Jana Varpa, Head of Legal & Corporate Governance , acting as her primary legal arm on the ground in Madrid.

What You’ll Do (The Mission): Employment Law Expert: Take full ownership of Spanish employment contracts, HR-related legal documentation, and labor law compliance.

You ensure the "Banank Family" in Madrid is built on a secure legal framework.

Legal Operations & Infrastructure: Manage and negotiate local vendor agreements, office leases, and operational contracts.

You don’t just "review"—you manage the lifecycle of these documents.

Corporate Housekeeping: Maintain the legal health of our Spanish entity.

This includes board meeting administration, official filings, and maintaining signature authorities.

Regulatory & Administrative Support: Provide technical and administrative support for filings with the Banco de España and CNMV , ensuring all local documentation is prepared to the highest standard.

Strategic Bridge: Keep the Head of Legal & Corporate Governance informed of local legal risks, acting as the vital link between our Madrid hub and the Group leadership.

Who You Are: The Practitioner: You have 3 years of experience specifically in Spanish corporate and employment law.

You know the Estatuto de los Trabajadores inside out.

The Executioner: You are a strong "doer." You enjoy setting up systems from scratch and bringing order to a fast-paced environment.

The Detail-Oriented Partner: You understand that in a new office, the "small print" in a lease or a labor contract has a massive impact.

The Communicator: You are fluent in Spanish and English, capable of navigating both local authorities and our international team.

Requirements: A degree in Law.

Proven track record in handling employment law and commercial contracts in Spain.

Experience in a fintech or fast-growing international environment is a major plus.

Fluent in Spanish and English (essential for our international collaboration).
