Responsible AI (RAI) Architect – Barcelona

We are currently looking for a Responsible AI (RAI) Architect to lead the design of responsible AI platforms and integrate hyper‑scaler technologies with ethical and regulatory frameworks.
Location: Barcelona (Hybrid work model – some days remote, others at the office to foster team synergy). Candidates must reside in Spain and hold valid work authorization.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement RAI platform solutions using reference architectures that integrate hyper‑scaler technologies and RAI tools.
* Translate data and AI regulations into ethical system designs and scalable architectures.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define integrations, platforms, and tools.
* Lead stakeholder engagement and technical initiatives across complex environments.
Technical Requirements
* Proven experience in designing RAI architectures aligned with ethical standards and regulatory frameworks.
* Deep understanding of Responsible Data and AI policies, including European and international regulations.
* Ability to interpret legal frameworks and embed them into technical designs.
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience integrating hyper‑scaler platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with RAI tools.
Preferred Certifications
* ISO/IEC 42001 – Ethical and responsible AI management framework.
* AI ACT – Emerging EU regulation for ethical and safe AI usage.
* Certified Artificial Intelligence Scientist (CAIS™) – USAII® certification.
Academic Background
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields.
* Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Systems Architecture, Digital Ethics, or Cybersecurity.
* Specialized programs in Responsible AI, Tech Compliance, or Cloud Architecture.
