Location: This role can be based in LONDON, FRANKFURT, MADRID or DUBLIN.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver large‑scale critical HV/MV grid interconnection projects within EMEA under tight deadlines, from design to energisation.
Lead and coordinate diverse cross‑functional teams (design engineering, construction, planning, environmental, real‑estate) to ensure timely project delivery.
Manage stakeholder relationships, providing weekly reporting on key project risks & issues to senior management, director, and vice‑president levels.
Drive the grid infrastructure delivery program, standardise processes, develop tools for delivery execution, and support financial budgeting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, construction management or a similar technical focus.
Minimum 5+ years of experience delivering HV & MV infrastructure projects/programs from design to energisation.
Experience building and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to operate successfully with partial information and high levels of ambiguity;
willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
5+ years of experience building power substations working with utilities and understanding their environment and culture.
Experience in analysing cost/benefit trade‑offs across a strategic portfolio and a demonstrated understanding of how to transact business in multiple cultural contexts;
experience managing international teams is a plus.
Experience working in data centres or critical infrastructure.
Master’s degree (MBA/MS) and/or PMP certification preferred.
Experience designing substations or other energy infrastructure.
Experience working for utilities and/or with energy regulators.
Ability to communicate in additional languages.
