The Dairy & Lactose Senior Account Manager has a deep market knowledge, necessary to establish connections with all the key players in those industries at multiple functions and levels. Focus to be on the defense and attack plan for the Lactase business acquisition and to expand Kerry's reach into the Dairy End User Market.
Key responsibilities
* Proactively defend current business and levels of profitability of products sold currently into customers.
* Identify appropriate new or growth opportunities into the customers and define an attack plan in alignment with the BU strategic plans.
* Prospect and “close” new business opportunities through custom product and integrated solution selling to deliver profitable growth.
* Manage a specific account portfolio.
* Identify a portfolio of quality growth projects.
* Develop strategic relationships within customers’ organisation including R&D, Marketing and Procurement and foster counterpart relationships within Kerry.
* Comply with all relevant Kerry systems / processes.
Qualifications and skills
* 10-15 years’ experience in Sales / Account Management, where her / his technical capability has actively contributed to winning new business.
* Experience in business development or selling in the Lactose Ingredients industry.
* Good working knowledge of food science and how it relates to product development and its commercialization.
* Strong negotiating ability with clients to achieve successful outcomes for Kerry.
* Fluency in Spanish and English is essential for this role - Italian and French are a nice to have.
* Willing to travel up to 60%.
