**English teacher for summer programs in Barcelona centre**
**Job description**
For various groups in summer 2026 we are looking for an enthusiastic, fun and independent professional who is passionate about teaching English to foreign Italian teenage students.
Our main goal is for our students to have a fun and engaging experience while practising the English language.
When: 2 July - 4 August
Where: at our language school in the centre of Barcelona
Hours: approximately 15 to 30 hours per week
**Main tasks**
- Assess student levels and divide into different groups
- Teaching English to teenage students
- Prepare lesson program in advance
- Management of student behaviour in class
- Monitoring attendance
- Getting involved in social and cultural activities and excursions
- Cooperating with other teachers and school staff
**Requirements**:
- Native level English
- Minimum TEFL 60 hours, or CELTA/CertTESOL
- Responsible and independent work habit
- Flexibility
- Enthusiastic, organized and a natural leader
- Highly responsible, approachable and friendly
- Ability to create a positive learning environment
- Have the right to live and work in Spain
**Conditions**
- Up to 30 hours per week, depending on rotating schedule and availability. Between Monday and Friday.
- Most working days in the morning (9:30h to 13:00h) and/or the afternoon (14:30h - 18:00h).
- Competitive salary, depending on education and working experience.
