We're aiming to become the most customer-centric company on Earth.As a Transport Performance Analyst you will have the opportunity to create world-class customer experiences leveraging your innovation, team player and problem solving skills.This position involves working in a rotating three-shift system, which may include Saturdays, Sundays, night shifts and on-call duty.Key job responsibilitiesExecute daily same day or next day forecasts.Plan delivery routes or monitor the volume flow, affecting tens of thousands of packages at EU level.You will be accountable for planning accuracy, cost and customer experience.
In addition, you will be instrumental in developing best practices and standard work for the network.Ensure targets and service deadlines are met, according to regulatory requirements.Communicate with various departments, facilitating the flow of information between different stakeholders and resolving any potential issues that impact business continuity.Conduct research into process improvement initiatives and taking real-time decisions by taking a step back at strategic intervals to take in the bigger picture.Maintain and report up to date and accurate statistics, management reports and analysis.A day in the lifeThis position is office-based.As a Transport Performance Analyst you will work across the EU in a cross-functional environment with the Supply Chain, Distribution Centers, and Ground Transportation teams, in order to support our day-to-day operations to ensure the timely delivery of Heavy/Bulky shipments to our customers.About the teamAmazon Extra Large (AMXL) looks after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances.
Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns.
What sets this service apart from others is the extra level of customer care.
Not only do we deliver large items, but we unpack, assemble and install them, and take away old items where needed.
With a focus on safety, productivity and innovation, we're changing the way customers buy and receive large goods for the better.We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe.
While those of us who work in delivery stations will do some night shifts, most of us work during the day.
Our team is made up of people across operations, supply chain, business intelligence and programme management, and everyone plays a crucial role in growing this part of the business.Basic QualificationsRelevant experience in analytical tasks or projects, working with dataAdvanced proficiency in verbal and written English (C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR)Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Preferred QualificationsRelevant experience in communicating with senior stakeholders and leadershipPrevious experience within transportation or logisticsWorking experience on programming and coding languages (SQL or Python).
