Senior Internal Auditor – Fintech
Summary of the role:
The Senior Internal Auditor for our Electronic Money Institution is part of Amadeus' Group Internal Audit team.
The role consists in planning and executing operational, risk based internal audit reviews, with a primary focus on the fast growing e-payments business line.
The position is based in Madrid and can involve occasional travel to other Amadeus locations.
In this role you will:
1. Contribute to the roll-out of the Internal Audit's strategy;
2. Support or Lead the internal audit engagements assigned, primarily on Amadeus' e-payment business;
3. Support the planning of Group Internal Audit activities;
4. Contribute to the continuous evolution of internal audit's professional practice;
5. Support in building and maintaining effective relationships between Group Internal Audit and key stakeholders (including control functions, auditees and External Auditors);
6. Provide expert independent assurance and advice to auditees and management on the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes;
About the ideal candidate:
• Holds a university degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Legal or Information Technology engineering;
• Has a strong knowledge of fintech operations &/or financial service regulatory framework, obtained through 4+ years of relevant experience in audit (internal &/or external), risk management &/or operations;
• Is proficient in English (both verbal and written);
• Demonstrates solid attention to detail, and ability to clearly communicate information to a wide range of audiences.
The following would be a plus:
• Proficiency in data analytics;
• Professional certifications in auditing, accountancy, Fintech...
