Data Architect – Madrid (Hybrid)
At VASS, we are looking for a Data Architect to join our team in Madrid and participate in high-impact international projects. Responsibilities
Design and define data architectures aligned with business and technical requirements
Lead the design of data models, data flows, and integration strategies
Ensure scalability, performance, and data quality across platforms
Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders
Define best practices, standards, and governance models for data management
Participate in decision-making regarding tools, technologies, and data platforms
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as Data Architect (or closely related positions)
Strong knowledge of data architecture principles, data modeling, and data integration
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data ecosystems
Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data warehousing solutions
Ability to work in collaborative and fast-paced environments
High level of English (C1) – you will work in an international environment xhfqzwm
Must be based in Madrid, with availability to work 2 days per week onsite at the client's office (hybrid model)
Nice to have
Experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, etc.)
Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
Experience in agile environments
