We are hiring a Lead Java Backend Developer for SmartTV to join our team! 🚀

As a Lead Java Developer with knowledge in Java, you will play a key role in the development, customization, and maintenance of applications and backend systems for Smart TV platforms. This position requires experience in Smart TV development environments, multimedia technologies, and a deep understanding of scalable, high-performance architectures, with the goal of delivering exceptional experiences across a wide range of devices.
Your key tasks will be:
* Be part of the Agile TV team, contributing to the development and evolution of leading TV products and services, providing the best TV experience.
* Help in the design of the architecure.
* Participate in the development of new products and the enhancement of existing ones, contributing to architectural decisions (e.g., Next-Generation TV Platform).
* Design and implement new features to support backend modules and improve platform functionality.
* Develop high-performance, reliable, secure, and scalable applications.
* Act as a mentor for other team members.
You must have:
* 8+ years of experience in backend development with Java.
* Expertise in software development best practices (SOLID, Clean Code), including optimization, documentation, and testing.
* Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security), and dependency injection.
* Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
* Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
* Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
* Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
* Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
* Experience working with AWS.
* Fluent in Spanish (C1/C2) and English (B2+ or higher).
* Must be residing in Spain with a valid work permit.
