Your role at HostingerWe're eager to strengthen and standardize our website tracking infrastructure to match our growth. To lead these efforts, we seek a Lead Web Analytics Developer to join our web tracking squad.
As a Lead Web Analytics Developer, you'll architect our web analytics infrastructure, overseeing the implementation and optimization of tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Amplitude. You'll standardize data collection and reporting practices across our digital properties, ensuring consistent, accurate measurement of user behavior.
This role requires technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership. You'll implement advanced tracking solutions that answer critical business questions. Working with the Websites team, you'll help drive data-informed decisions that enhance user experience and improve conversion rates, contributing to Hostinger's growth.
Your day-to-day
Lead web tracking squad, providing guidance, mentorship, and best practices for high-quality implementation and reporting
Manage stakeholder relationships, translating analytics requirements into actionable insights across product, marketing, and business teams
Oversee project timelines, prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of web tracking solutions
Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis, influencing leadership decisions
Design and implement advanced tracking solutions across web properties using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Amplitude and other analytics platforms
Lead server-side tracking implementation to enhance data control and reduce client-side load
Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to implement tracking solutions across product teams
Develop and maintain standardized data collection frameworks for consistent measurement
Establish data governance to maintain tracking integrity and compliance across platforms
Continuously improve processes, promoting scalable analytics workflows across multiple teams
Identify opportunities to improve data quality
Your skills and experience
Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Proven experience in stakeholder management with cross-functional teams
5+ years of experience with web analytics implementation and optimization
Hands-on experience with server-side tracking solutions
Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Amplitude (experience with other platforms is a plus)
Strong understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
Strong problem-finding and debugging skills
Experience with data visualization tools and SQL
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR) and their impact on analytics
Experience in project tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira)

Compensation
Gross salary from 5500 EUR/month, depending on experience and skills
