You’ll be the key decision-maker on the day of operations, leading the Operations Control Center team to ensure every Volotea flight departs, flies, and arrives safely, efficiently, and on time. How will it be to work with us? Lead the OCC team in real time, ensuring all flights operate safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Make critical operational decisions, coordinating Dispatch, Ground Operations, Crew Control, and Maintenance to resolve disruptions. Manage unplanned events such as technical issues, weather, or delays to minimize impact on passengers and overall punctuality. Act as the primary point of contact for Safety and Security events, triggering notifications and activating the Emergency Response Plan when needed. Support Flight Dispatchers in analyzing operational environments, preparing flight plans, and ensuring risks are identified and mitigated. Communicate flight schedules, rotations, and operational changes to all stakeholders for seamless coordination. Arrange last-minute flight permits, airport slots, or routing adjustments to keep operations running smoothly. What will make you succeed in this position: Minimum 2 years in aviation operations, preferably in flight dispatch, airline, or airport operations Experience in a real-time management, supervisory, or decision-making position is highly valuable Familiarity with aircraft performance, EASA AIR-OPS regulations, operations manuals, flight planning, and European ATC systems Strong problem-solving skills, able to assess risks and make decisions under pressure while keeping safety as top priority Proactive, flexible, and team-oriented, with strong organizational skills Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English ; Italian or French are a plus Comfortable with IT systems including flight planning software, SITA/AFTN, schedule/ops control systems, and Eurocontrol tools (NOP, NMP Flight) Ability to interpret weather, NOTAMs, and airport/airspace NAV charts Willingness to work rotating shifts (24/7) Learn more about working at Volotea HQ VOLOTEA | Jobs and Careers VOLOTEA | Vuelos baratos, ofertas y billetes de avión a ciudades de toda Europa.
