For our client, a Multinational Company in the Industrial sector, we're looking for a Head of Customs who will Lead, establish, define, represent, organize, and coordinate all Customs Strategy and Foreign Trade Operations Worldwide. Your mission is to fulfill their requirements in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring Compliance and with an optimal cost-benefit relation, within a Global, Ethical, and Legal Framework, aligned with the Corporate Global strategy. Functions & Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures for import and export activities, ensuring compliance with all regulations.- Interact with regional/local country managers to develop standard practices and identify synergies.- Facilitate policy, procedures, and systems regarding imports and exports, focusing on Trade Compliance.- Support business plans for production, sales, and marketing in compliance with customs regulations.- Advocate changes in customs trade laws and regulations, representing corporate interests.- Develop staff and build alliances with managers and counterparts in the auto industry.- Contribute to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth.- Communicate effectively with regional and global directors regarding identified risks and mitigation plans.- Support the development/implementation of best practices within the region. Your Profile: - Bachelor's degree in Customs & Trade, International Business, or related field.- Minimum 10 years of customs experience and at least 5 years in the Industrial sector.- Knowledge of International Law, International Business, and tariff classification.- Fluency in Spanish and English required; Spanish Native and English C1-C2- Knowledge of Portuguese and optional French valued.- Proficiency in Excel and Power Point.- Strong analytical skills with a focus on results.- Excellent communication, proactive, dynamic, and disruptive personality.
