Job SummaryWorkload: Part-time (20 hours per week)Duration: 1 yearSeniority: Senior roleLocation: RemoteStart Date: ASAPKey Roles and Responsibilities- Logistics Planning & Coordination- Develop, implement, and monitor the project logistics plan covering the transportation and delivery of equipment and materials to the designated project area.- Coordinate logistics activities with procurement, engineering, and vendor teams to ensure the timely delivery of project components and equipment.- Technical Documentation & Drawing Review- Review and analyze vendor drawings, packing lists, and technical documentation to identify transportation constraints such as dimensions, weight, lifting requirements, and special handling conditions.- Verify transport limits, packaging requirements, and lifting points based on equipment drawings and vendor documentation.- Freight Forwarding Strategy & RFQ Process- Prepare and manage RFQs for freight forwarders, including defining the Scope of Work (SOW) and required logistics services.- Evaluate technical proposals from freight forwarders and support the selection process.- Shipment Execution & Monitoring- Coordinate with selected freight forwarders for international and domestic transportation, including multimodal transport (sea, road, or special transport).- Monitor shipment status and ensure compliance with project schedules and Incoterms.- Ensure proper export/import documentation, customs compliance, and HS code alignment for equipment shipments.- Maintain regular logistics progress reports for the project management team.- Site Delivery Coordination- Coordinate with the relevant teams for delivery planning, unloading procedures, and temporary storage requirements.- Ensure compliance with site access limitations, lifting plans, and safety requirements.#J-18808-Ljbffr
