Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-end Engineer to join our global eCommerce modernization initiative for a leading pharmaceutical client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with React, Next.Js, and modern JavaScript frameworks, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance front-end applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain the front-end codebase, ensuring exceptional user experience and seamless integration with headless CMS, feature flags, and central APIs.
* Create reusable, modular, and scalable components following best practices in design and architecture.
* Implement and maintain unit and end-to-end testing frameworks to ensure product stability and code quality.
* Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver cohesive, user-centric eCommerce solutions.
* Develop and enhance eCommerce features and market-specific customizations, ensuring continuous improvement across digital platforms.
* Actively contribute to technical discussions and product strategy, working with Developers, Product Owners, and Solution Architects to define and refine new features.
Key Skills & Experience
* Strong proficiency in React.Js, Next.Js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
* Solid experience in responsive design, component-based development, and modular front-end architecture.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks (e.G., Jest, Cypress).
* Strong understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility, and modern development principles.
* Experience with Angular or Spartacus Composable Storefront is a plus (not mandatory).
* Prior exposure to SAP eCommerce, SAP Hybris, or SAP Commerce Cloud integrations is a strong advantage.
