The successful candidate will join TDBOA, Manufacturing & MRO in Getafe to be a business analyst for TDBOA supporting MES applications such as SIPLA, Digital Bart Chart, MAXIMO or PELICANO, both to cover modifications linked to projects and/or services and to secure smooth service delivery together with our main developer supplier.
Responsibilities
Conduits in-depth discovery meetings aimed at understanding, capturing, and identifying complex business requirements and operational objectives of the customer, with recommendations on automation.
Identify areas for improvement in business processes providing possible IT solutions compliant with the Digital strategy.
Support the IT Product Manager in product/service planning based on customer requirements.
Produce documentation of current challenges, future requirements, and benefits suitable for the customer.
Define and develop the required specification documents for review with stakeholders and the Product team member.
Act as liaison between Product Management teams and technical resources during product development and implementation to ensure solution integrity.
Participate in all phases of the application development life cycle including research and design, development, testing, implementation and support.
Support the technical design of the application and infrastructure components of a new solution according to the functional design.
End-to-end accountability for the Digital AIRPOWER app in conjunction with the Product Manager, coordinating the different Digital Departments involved.
Monitor and track system performance against negotiated SLAs, including incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management.
Ensure provisioning of new software packages and upgrades.
Responsible for the optimization, reliability, efficiency and availability of the Digital Solution, in line with best practices, rules and policies, in accordance with OLA/SLAs.
Translate business needs into Digital requirements and proactively identify opportunities for business transformation or improvement enabled by technology (short and long-term).
Contribute to chargeback definition model for respective IT products/applications or services.
Develop a solid understanding of the customer's existing business and processes end-to-end, including key drivers and measures of success and short- and long-term direction.
Formulate functional and nonfunctional requirements and advise on the lifecycle of information solutions;
evaluate change management impact.
Lead IT Product/Application or Service lifecycle management, including development and operation to meet operational SLAs.
Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the Digital solution.
Use knowledge of business processes for Air Power and support integration of IT system components with Enterprise Architecture guidelines.
Support continuous release management and define go-to-market aspects of the product and service.
Qualifications
Educated in an Engineering degree or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in Digital Service and development.
Export Control Basics.
.NET solution knowledge.
Experience with component integration and solution deployment.
Product/Service planning and business plan development.
Design of Digital Services;
experience with Digitalproduct/service lifecycles.
Strong coding/development skills and infrastructure design knowledge.
ERP/SAP SP1 knowledge would be an asset.
Project management experience is valuable.
High adaptability to work on new topics, new business, and in a network model.
Experience in Manufacturing/MRO and understanding main processes to produce platforms and components.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
able to propose new ideas.
Advanced level of English;
native Spanish is preferred.
