SEK Ciudalcampo International School is seeking an English Teacher for Secondary Education (MYP) to join the Modern Languages Department with immediate effect. The successful candidate will teach English Language and Literature and English Language Acquisition within the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme, contributing to an international, student‑centered learning environment.

To promote the development of skills that ensure relevant, integral, international, and meaningful learning, in line with the SEK International Schools educational model and the International Baccalaureate philosophy.
Teaching Assignment
The successful candidate will teach the following subjects within the Middle Years Programme (MYP) :
- English – Language and Literature
- MYP 4: 2 groups
- MYP 5: 2 groups
- English – Language Acquisition
- MYP 4: 1 group
- MYP 5: 1 group
In addition, the teacher will assume tutoring responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality teaching in English Language and Literature and/or Language Acquisition following the IB MYP framework.
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities using student‑centered methodologies.
- Foster critical thinking, communication skills, and intercultural understanding.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- ваз act as a tutor, supporting students’ academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with the Modern Languages Department and participate in school projects and meetings.
- Integrate digital tools and educational platforms into classroom practice.
Requirements
- Academic Background
- Bachelor’s Degree or Licenciatura in English Philology, English Studies,楽天 or an equivalent qualification.
- Degree in Translation and Interpreting (English) will also be considered.
- Master’s Degree in Secondary Education Teaching (Máster de Profesorado).
- Official language certification.
- Degree homologated and officially recognized by the Spanish educational authorities, enabling the candidate to legally teach and sign official documentation.
- Professional Experience
- Previous teaching experience in secondary education and/or IB programmes will be valued.
- Languages
- English: C2 level (native or near‑native proficiency required).
- IT Skills
- Basic IT skills for the use of educational platforms and the integration of digital tools in the classroom.
- Skills and Competencies
