About the Role
Trane is looking for a motivatedSales Engineerto drive the growth of ourControl and Building Management System (BMS/EBMS)solutions for Trane and Kieback&Peter. If you’re passionate about HVAC, automation, and energy‑efficiency technologies—and enjoy developing new business—this role is for you.
Responsibilities
* Grow market presence for our Control and BMS/EBMS solutions
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across key segments (commercial, tertiary, retail, etc.)
* Manage the complete sales cycle: prospecting, technical‑commercial presentations, proposals, and closing
* Work closely with product and service sales teams to build competitive proposals
* Build strong relationships with customers, engineering firms, installers, and partners
* Represent Trane Technologies at events, trainings, and technical presentations
* Maintain accurate CRM and forecasting updates
Qualifications
* Experience in technical sales, preferably in HVAC, automation, BMS, or controls
* Knowledge of HVAC systems, integration, and communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.)
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Self‑driven, results‑oriented mindset
* English proficiency for a multinational environment
* Availability to travel within the assigned territory
