Job Overview
TIER1 multinational company with high presence around the world dedicated to the fabrication of plastic parts and components in the automotive industry. Located in La Pobla de Claramunt, we have an injection line and painting line with more than 300 workers and the entire finance department of Spain.
Responsibilities
* Supervise accounting for each entity; coordinate monthly reporting and monitor accounting information.
* Implement process simplification and improvement measures in line with the main axes defined by the Accounting Department.
* Meet cost reduction objectives linked to accounting functions.
* Coordinate tasks of participants in the accounting cycle.
* Supervise production reports (quality, deadline) mandatory under Group accounting and reporting standards and legal requirements.
* Ensure good debt management.
* Supervise production of monthly reports compliant with accounting standards and management control procedures.
* Collaborate with management control to analyze results and prepare budgets.
* Ensure accounting procedures, legal accounting and fiscal requirements, and Group standards are respected.
* Propose necessary improvements.
* Participate in working groups to generate and apply Group standards.
* Ensure compliance with Group standards and legal measures.
* Optimise application of fiscal texts in partnership with the Accounting Department.
* Carry out legal and fiscal documentary monitoring.
* Supervise tax declarations.
* Take decisions to optimise results without compromising deadlines.
* Organise external service providers under overall plan drawn up by the Accounting Department.
* Based on objectives, prepare action plans and coordinate employee missions.
* Propose annual operating budget and ensure adherence.
* Propose necessary resources for objectives, implement actions for staff turnover, recruitment, transfers, dismissal/redundancy and investments according to budgetary forecasts and labour constraints.
* Monitor performance indicators, implement corrective actions.
* Conduct annual appraisal interviews and set employee objectives.
* Develop team skills and propose training actions.
* Advise employees on professional development and promote internal mobility.
* Propose salary increases within Group salary policy.
* Enforce appropriate disciplinary measures when necessary.
* Ensure motivation and positive working environment.
* Check and approve team members' expense claims and authorizations for absence/vacations.
* Ensure job descriptions updated according to group procedures.
* Provide reports on activity.
Qualifications
* Higher level studies in Administration and Finance.
* High level of English.
* At least 5 years of proven experience in described tasks.
* Rigorous person.
* Ability to work in a team and manage a work team.
* Residence in Anoia region highly valued.
* Experience in automotive sector.
* French and/or Portuguese language desirable.
* Knowledge of accounting according to Portuguese legislation highly valued.
* Knowledge of SAP.
