At K-LAGAN, we are seeking a highly motivated Rheological Calculation Engineer to join our Engineering team. If you're passionate about simulation, mold design, and working on cutting-edge automotive projects, this opportunity is for you!
What are we looking for?
An Automotive, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Physics Engineer with strong expertise in rheological and numerical calculations (FE static & dynamic simulations), capable of providing innovative solutions and supporting our technical teams and customers.
Main responsibilities:
Plan and execute rheological calculations and simulations.
Analyze and propose solutions based on simulation results.
Develop and implement new competences related to product sizing and the evolution of the product development spectrum.
Create development guidelines and references to maintain or improve product quality.
Ensure the effective use of existing calculation processes to secure the development strategy at an early stage.
Prevent cost overruns in the design and distribution of hot runner systems.
Present solutions and results to both the client and internal teams.
Develop constructive solutions in collaboration with technical departments.
Create technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
Represent the company during customer meetings and project development phases.
Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive customer information.
Act as a mentor for interns within the department.
What do you need to succeed in this role?
Must have:
Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Physics Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of injection mold design and functionality.
Proven experience in FE static and dynamic simulations.
Availability to travel.
Fluent English and Spanish.
Nice to have:
Experience in the automotive industry.
Knowledge of German.
Expertise in rheology applied to mold design.
