AWS Dedicated Cloud Engineer, Commerce Platform

About AWS Commerce Platform
It provides infrastructure and services enabling AWS teams to sell their services and help customers understand and manage their costs. It handles billing, invoicing, and payments based on usage.
Security Clearance Requirement
The candidate must currently hold and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, with the ability to acquire additional clearances as needed for specific government agency work.
Key Responsibilities
* Focus on operational excellence, troubleshooting complex system issues, with a good understanding of Linux, networking, and cloud services.
* Break down projects, define milestones, and implement feedback mechanisms.
* Identify and resolve systemic issues, escalate operational concerns promptly.
A Day in the Life
Our engineers investigate customer issues, analyze metrics, and discuss automation strategies. You will join a dedicated team supporting AWS Commerce Platform, managing several hundred production services impacting the platform significantly.

Minimum Qualifications
* Associate's degree, or Cloud+ / GICSP / GSEC / SSCP certifications.
* 3+ years of systems administration experience (Linux/Windows).
* Experience with scripting languages.
* Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
* 3+ years in cloud computing.
* Experience with production support procedures, automation, troubleshooting, performance, and log analysis.
