About the Team:
We are looking for a new colleague in our Purchasing department at our location in Corella. You will work with a Global team supporting the business in the implementation of the contracts and purchasing relations with suppliers. Your workplace will be located in Corella, Spain, together with the regional purchase manager and local team. After a successful introduction, you will be able to take on further tasks and responsibilities.
What you can look forward to as Purchasing Officer:
Leading the setup and implementation of purchasing strategy aligned with Domain Purchasing Manager.
Managing frame contracts with suppliers to secure our business.
Evaluating supplier performance in terms of quality, price, technology, delivery, and project development.
Conducting purchasing reporting and analysis as requested.
Tracking delivery performance and supporting procurement activities for key suppliers.
Providing strong support to FMG global plants to ensure optimal cost-effective balance of local and global sourcing options and negotiating for local and global demand.
Implementing NPI sourcing strategy and making sourcing decisions on time.
Benchmarking to find the best cost sourcing options to keep us competitive.
Undertaking any ad hoc duties as assigned.
Your profile as Purchasing Officer:
Minimum 3 years of work experience in the field of purchase and project management.
Experience with MRP system will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of purchase processes and project management.
Experience in contract/price negotiations and sourcing.
Experience with demand forecasting, planning, and procurement activities.
Proficiency in English and Spanish languages.
A good team player who is proactive, independent, and resourceful.
