Main responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
- Lead, coach, and develop the accounts payable team, ensuring high performance and adherence to deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Monitor AP aging, cash flow impact, and payment schedules.
- Implement and improve processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as required.
Required skills
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar.
- More than 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience in multinational environments.
- Fluency in English.
- Highly valuable experience in SAP VIM.
