Precision for Medicine is growing! We are hiring Manager, Clinical Monitoring to join our European team. The position can be fully remote from the UK, Spain, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, or Slovakia.
Position Summary: The Manager, Clinical Monitoring (GCM) provides an advanced development path for clinical research professionals. Responsibilities include managing and developing the organization’s Clinical Research Associate (CRA) workforce and supporting departmental initiatives to enhance quality and productivity. The role involves leading, managing, and motivating a team of CRAs, ensuring proper resource allocation, and providing career development support.
Essential functions:
* Generate action plans and oversee CRA services to meet departmental goals.
* Assist with project resourcing, update tracking systems, and interface with project teams.
* Collaborate with Clinical Team Leads and Clinical Operations Management to meet resource needs.
* Develop, mentor, and coach CRA staff, supporting their career growth.
* Conduct site visits to assess CRA skills and developmental needs.
* Identify quality risks and recommend corrective actions.
* Ensure staff have necessary resources and training.
* Maintain metrics related to CRA oversight and participate in hiring processes.
* Conduct onboarding and training for new CRAs.
* Represent Precision for Medicine professionally and manage CRA staff in line with company policies.
Qualifications:
* Graduate or postgraduate degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline.
* Fluent in English and French.
* Over 7 years in clinical operations or related fields, with at least 5 years onsite monitoring experience, especially in oncology trials.
* 3-5 years of supervisory experience managing CRAs.
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally (~25%).
Skills and competencies: Mastery of ICH-GCP, local regulations, and clinical study phases; strong leadership, training, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with EMRs and EDCs; high self-motivation and professionalism; excellent communication and presentation skills.
