With a strong foundation in clean energy infrastructure, they are leveraging their expertise to deliver innovative, scalable storage solutions to distributors and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) clients across global markets.Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead growth in the BESS sector. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a proven track record in energy storage, renewable energy leasing, or clean tech solutions. You will be responsible for developing strategic relationships, driving revenue, and positioning our client as a key player in the energy transition.Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies for BESS products targeting distributors and C&I clients.- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the energy storage and renewable leasing sectors.- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.- Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align customer needs with technical solutions.- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.- Represent our client at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates for senior leadership.Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales within the BESS, renewable energy, or energy leasing sectors.- Strong understanding of energy storage technologies, grid applications, and financing models.- Demonstrated success in selling to distributors, EPCs, and C&I clients.- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).Preferred Experience- Experience with renewable energy leasing models or energy-as-a-service (EaaS).- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and incentive programs for energy storage.- Existing network within the energy storage or clean tech ecosystem.
