WHAT YOU WILL DO
During this internship you will support our team increasing BASF market share in Maghreb countries while doing the following tasks:
1. Assist in preparing basic cosmetic formulations for topics such as hair care (HBO), skin care (SC), and styling products, following EU Cosmetic Legislation. Focus mainly on shampoos, skin care creams, and styling gels or creams.
2. Support basic efficacy and stability testing using available lab methods (e.g., mousse tests, sensory checks on hair or skin) for initial screening and understanding minimum market requirements.
3. Help compile formulation details for events such as the COSMETICA exhibition in Algeria.
4. Collaborate with Marketing teams by providing input for ingredient or formulation promotion stories, based on texture and preliminary efficacy observations.
5. Use BASF digital tools to research cosmetic ingredients and products, and assist in reporting test results and study summaries.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
6. Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or Biology or similar. Currently studying Master in Cosmetic and Dermopharmacy is desired.
7. Medium-advanced level of English is required, in addition to Spanish. Some level of French is highly desired.
8. User-level skills of Microsoft Office, desidered knowledge on AI tools.
9. Collaboration skills to work with a team and eagerness to learn about this sector and products.
