& EXTERNAL LOGISTICS TECHNICIAN - SEVILLE
We are looking for a Fulfillment & External Logistics technician to join our Company.
Your main function will be monitoring the procurement plan for direct purchases, ensuring the reception on time and with the required quality, facilitating the production activity of the plant, controlling and minimizing the associated risks as well as focusing on continuous improvement, and to optimize logistics processes in order to improve service while reducing logistic and stock costs without damaging quality or lead times.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The position involves the following roles and responsibilities:
* Follow-up and activation of the process once it is underway (meetings, supplier contact...) as well as evaluation and control of the different risks associated with the process.
* Prepare weekly risk assessment in order to guarantee raw material in production and coordinate action plan if required
* Coordinate with Fulfillment and Foreign Exchange team for correct material arrival
* Coordinate material arrival with warehouse and guarantee that material project is completed
* Support and coordinate information required by customers
* KPIs. Review, follow-up and proposal for updating KPIs and Reporting System (Supply Chain area).
* Follow up and inform of inventory levels and project MIGOs with the Warehouse area .
* Follow up on the inspection procedure from Quality related to all project material in order to ensure potential replacements in time.
* Manage and oversee all Raw Material transportation from Suppliers Incoterm to DDP.
* Conduct logistic analysis to help lower operative costs and identify areas for process improvement.
* Maintain strong business relationships and negotiate contracts with various transportation vendors / providers of transport truck, rail & vessel.
* Follow up material delivery schedule regarding incoterm conditions
* Control all Custom & Taxes issues related to raw material in order to support purchasing strategies
* Keep updated taxes applicable on region responsibility.
* Coordinate logistic quotation according incoterms.
* Coordinate custom process in local area for all purchases.
* Follow up on the POs related to the additional costs in the geographical area of responsibility securing that they are within business stranders and following the procedures of the company.
PROFILE:
* University Degree in Industrial Engineering
* Specific knowledge in Supply Chain and Project Management
* 2 - 4 years of experience in Production or in Demand Planning (experience in multinational company will be valued)
* English Level: C1
* SAP: MM module - User Level
* Excel: Advanced level
* MS Office: Advanced Level
