Job Overview Aircraft Performance is at the heart of our Aeronautic industry. It is one of the key criteria for an airline to decide to buy an aircraft. Performance is involved from the design phase to the end of aircraft life. With a constant focus on safety, our role is to improve aircraft and associated services efficiency in order to keep pleasing our customers.
Location Getafe – Spain or Toulouse – France.
Responsibilities Model and evaluate aircraft operational performance.
Analyze and simulate aircraft mission and its environment.
Act as a reference for data‐driven operational performance analysis.
Propose and develop technical and operational solutions, including services, to influence and optimize aircraft design, flight operations, and safety.
Develop, generate and deliver aircraft performance models and algorithms used by flight crews.
Analyze in‐service flight data to understand flight operations and evaluate On‐Board functions.
Contribute to design and improvement of On‐Board performance functions.
Elaborate and validate surrogate performance models.
Support development by providing appropriate data and models for system implementation.
Achieve V&V activities to validate performance functions and data implementation, including laboratory test and analysis.
Contribute to digital transformation, including tasks and tools automation.
Perform in‐service data analysis.
Qualifications Degree in aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
Good knowledge of aircraft flight physics.
Knowledge of flight and cockpit operations and/or aircraft systems.
Competence in IT (scripting, Python...) and surrogate modeling.
More than 3 years of professional experience.
Advanced level in English.
High focus on team spirit, collaboration, proactivity, adaptability, dynamism, and good communication skills.
Awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.
