It is responsible for designing, developing, and rolling out state-of-the-art digital products across brands, regions, and divisions globally to help our brands accelerate organic growth.
THE JOB
We are seeking a dynamic Software Engineer for CRM Marketing Automation on top of Salesforce Marketing Cloud for our CRM Product team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building the core CRM product on top of Salesforce CRM capabilities and extending it with additional features to deliver a delightful experience for the marketing teams. You will work alongside colleagues focusing on other aspects of product engineering, leads, the product owner, and the entire scrum team.
This role requires hands-on experience building scalable microservices on Azure Cloud using backend technologies in Java, relational and no-SQL databases, and highly scalable stateless capabilities to support our CRM product. It's a plus to have a strong understanding of CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and data engineering experience. You will partner closely with the product team to ensure our CRM marketing capabilities fit our brands and divisions worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and services for our multi-brand global platforms.
* Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize features.
* Implement best practices for backend development, including code quality, scalability, security, and performance optimization.
* Integrate backend systems with third-party APIs, services, and databases.
* Optimize backend code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
* Write automated tests to ensure reliability and correctness.
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
* Stay current on backend development trends and emerging technologies.
* Troubleshoot and debug backend issues, working with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges.
* Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize features.
* Provide training and support to end-users on capabilities and best practices.
* Document work clearly for colleagues, demonstrating attention to detail.
* Stay informed on industry trends in CRM marketing automation and data analytics.
Knowledge / Experience
Prior experience with a global multi-brand organization is preferred. Awareness of data privacy regulations and a commitment to compliance are also beneficial.
