As a Kitchen Commis at Soho Farmhouse Ibiza, your role will be to ensure our guests always enjoy an incredible gastronomic experience. We will provide a platform for you to collaborate with simplicity, kindness, and passion.You will work with the Demi Chef and Chef de Partie to ensure that assigned responsibilities are completed correctly and promptly according to our company's standards, policies, and procedures.Strictly adhere to safety, hygiene, and health standards at work.Perform correct and professional service at all timesClean utensils and store them in their designated places.Carry out basic preparations (cleaning, peeling, chopping, weighing food), as well as any other culinary tasks assigned to you.Assist in setting up and dismantling stations, brunches, events, family lunches, etc.Store products in appropriate storage locations.Assist in preparations for the family lunch (staff meal).Keep your work area always tidy and cleanAttend regular team meetings to stay informed about any changes in the menu or service, as well as daily tastings.Support the team when necessary.Develop and maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with the team, treating everyone with kindness and respect.Approach your role professionally, setting an example in appearance, discipline, and conduct.Perform any tasks assigned by your direct supervisors.What we look for in a Kitchen Commis?The selected Kitchen Commis for Soho Farmhouse Ibiza should not require extensive experience in a busy high-profile kitchen but must have knowledge of all culinary areas and a natural instinct for first-class service. You should be reliable, friendly, and eager to be part of a team striving for success.Passion for food, drink, and hospitality.Great attention to detailExperience:
Minimum of 1 year in a similar role in restaurants and/or hotels.Training in Culinary Arts and/or Hospitality, HACCP trainingKnowledge in hospitality and cooking (products, machinery, and utensils) is valued.Basic food preparation, presentation, and preservation knowledge.Good gustatory and olfactory memory.Interpersonal skills (kindness, cordiality, empathy).Good communication skills.Ability to work as part of a team.Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to work under pressure.Physical requirements:
Ability to grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands.Capable of standing for at least 8 hours.Occasionally kneel, bend, and climb as needed.Benefits:
