Job Description
You will join a multicultural team of experts dedicated to providing high‑availability solutions and ensuring the digital continuity of the world’s leading helicopter manufacturer.
Responsibilities
* System Administration & Monitoring: Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Server environments. Proactive resolution of incidents or bottlenecks.
* Maintenance & Budget Management: Support maintenance contracts (SLA) and budget planning for the ongoing operation of the Windows Server infrastructure.
* 3rd Level Support & Troubleshooting: Handling complex support activities and incident root‑cause analysis in collaboration with end‑users.
* Methods & Standards: Assist in establishing industry standards and quality assurance regulations.
* Documentation: Creation and continuous maintenance of system documentation and operational manuals.
* Obsolescence Management: Identify and manage hardware and software lifecycles to mitigate risks from outdated technology.
* External Provider Management: Collaborate with external service providers for operation and maintenance of infrastructure.
* Virtualization: Administer hypervisor clusters and ensure seamless integration between hardware and software layers.
* Security & Compliance: Implement security patches and ensure systems meet aviation industry cybersecurity standards.
* Automation: Develop PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
* Education: Degree in Computer Science or comparable vocational training with 3–5 years of experience in Windows Server environments and technical support.
* Experience in Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
* Experience with virtualization and monitoring tools.
* Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and technical documentation.
* Knowledge of vendor management and budget tracking is an advantage.
* Problem‑solver with a service‑oriented mindset, strong focus on quality and structured administrative work.
* English mandatory; French and/or German considered strong advantages.
