We are seeking a temporary native-level English governess to work with two children in a lovely family, highly recommended and well-known to our agency. The family lives in the center of Manila with their two children: a boy aged 7 and a girl aged 6. They are looking for a dedicated and experienced governess to join their household and provide educational and nurturing care for the children.
The family will relocate to Barcelona in June and will stay there until August 15th.
The candidate will be expected to manage the daily schedule, tutor, prepare snacks, put children to bed (when needed), and organise age-appropriate activities. The family has a full-time domestic worker employed.
The ideal candidate will be fully fluent in English. The family is looking for an organised, proactive, friendly, and communicative governess who will be responsible for the children’s education and well-being. At least 5 years’ experience with a similar age group is required for this role.
The candidate must be well-presented, as they will be an extension of the family.
The salary on offer is 5000 GBP per month.
OFFER:
Live-out position in Manila for the spring and Barcelona during the summer.
5000 GBP per month + negotiable for the right candidate.
3pm – 9pm, 5 days per week.
Accommodation provided.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. English speaking governess.
2. Responsible, friendly, energetic, and caring person.
3. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
4. Excellent checkable references and DBS.
5. Up to date Paediatric First Aid certificate.
