Junior Account Manager – Graduate Opportunity

We’re looking for motivated graduates to join us as Junior Account Managers. This programme is designed to give young engineers a hands on introduction to the business and technical aspects of the automotive interior industry in a multinational environment. You’ll rotate through key areas of the Sales department, gaining insights into customer management, project life cycles, and commercial tools – all with a strong international focus and a dedicated mentorship structure.
What you’ll be doing
* Gain product knowledge: door panels, instrument panels, and roof cladding.
* Learn the customer management and sales process in the automotive industry.
* Understand automotive project life cycles – from RFQ (request for quotation) to SOP (start of production).
* Develop expertise in commercial tools such as cost breakdowns, price evolution, and preparation of customer offers.
* Get an internal process overview: engineering, project management, quality, purchasing, and operations.
Functions and responsibilities
* RFQ process support – help prepare offers to customers, including data collection, cost analysis, and coordination with internal departments.
* Customer interaction support – participate in customer meetings (virtual or on-site) and assist in preparing business presentations.
* Bench marking and market analysis – analyse competitors and support strategic planning with business intelligence.
* Project supervision – assist in tracking open issues, engineering change requests, and project milestones for development projects.
* Sales reporting and KPIs – contribute to internal reporting, dashboards, and forecasting activities.
* Cross-functional coordination – collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and plant teams to align sales and project activities.
* Innovation and sustainability – support business arguments for innovative or sustainable solutions in customer proposals.
