Scheduler - resource management

As an Avanade Scheduler, you will resource supply and demand to effectively and efficiently staff projects with the necessary capabilities and expertise. You will work with various parties within Avanade to accomplish this, including Resource Lead, Workforce Planning Lead, Director of Operations, Talent Community Leads, and fellow Schedulers.

Key Role Responsibilities
* Evaluate resources based on role requirements, considering individual preferences and career development goals.
* Help set expectations on resource availability with Europe stakeholders.
* Ensure smooth transitions for consultants on and between customer engagements.
* Work with Europe stakeholders on resource availability to develop and close opportunities.
* Update and maintain data in the scheduling system, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
* Distribute ad-hoc reports as needed.
* Facilitate regular resource meetings.
* Work with the Scheduling team to enhance scheduling systems and processes.
* Understand employees' strengths and areas for development.
* Coordinate with Resource Schedulers from other regions for inter-country assignments.
Skill & Capability Requirements
* Possess 1-3 years of professional experience.
* Successful experience in dynamic, changing, and geographically dispersed environments.
* Goal-oriented with a sense of urgency.
* Willing to take responsibility and ownership of tasks.
* Organized with multi-tasking ability and deadline management.
* Independent, persistent, and decisive.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to facilitate and balance stakeholder needs.
* Stay updated on Microsoft technologies; previous knowledge is highly desirable.
* Proficient in MS Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of Project Management; experience in Consulting, Recruiting, or Human Resources is advantageous.
* Capable of working remotely/virtually.
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
