About DNAmic Biosystems
¿Le interesa este puesto? Puede encontrar toda la información relevante en la descripción a continuación.
DNAmic Biosystems is building a new class of therapeutic technologies designed to enable in vivo cellular reprogramming. Instead of modifying cells outside the body or relying on non‑specific interventions, we develop systems that enable dynamic control over cellular function, effectively rewriting what cells do in vivo.
Our leading platform, bioND, integrates engineered human‑derived protein systems with programmable genetic circuits to precisely control cellular function within patients. We are advancing our lead program in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), targeting entry into clinical trials in the near term, while expanding our pipeline into oncology and cardiology.
Built in California and operating in Spain, DNAmic brings together expertise in bioengineering, synthetic biology, RNA technologies, and advanced therapeutics to translate these technologies into real clinical impact.
The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, hands‑on experimental scientist to join our team in Valencia. This is not a routine lab position, but a role focused on building new technologies under real timelines, where execution, rigor, and speed matter.
You will play a central role in developing and validating systems that enable in vivo cellular programming, generating the experimental foundation for future clinical applications. Most of your time will be spent designing and executing experiments, generating data, and iterating rapidly based on results. Your work will directly shape how these technologies behave in living systems and contribute to advancing our programs toward the clinic.
This role is best suited for individuals who enjoy working at the bench, take pride in execution, and want to contribute to building technologies that can fundamentally change how disease is treated. The challenges we work on are inherently complex, and progress is often non‑linear. This is not a “plug‑and‑play” environment where everything is predefined and predictable. We expect people to be comfortable operating in complex problem spaces, maintaining high standards of execution while contributing to solving problems that do not yet have clear answers.
Responsibilities
Maintain and expand mammalian cell culture systems
Execute molecular cloning workflows (plasmid design, assembly, and validation)
Perform transfections and functional assays
Routine work with animal tissues and advanced histological techniques, including immunofluorescence.
Generate high‑quality, reproducible experimental data under tight timelines
Contribute to the optimization of cellular reprogramming strategies and experimental systems
Document experiments clearly and maintain organized records
Collaborate closely with the team to rapidly iterate and improve experimental approaches
Requirements
Must have
Hands‑on experience in mammalian cell culture
Strong experience in molecular cloning (plasmid construction, DNA assembly, validation) and molecular biology techniques.
Experience in histological processing of animal tissues.
2‑3+ years of laboratory experience (academic or industry)
Nice to have
Experience with gene delivery systems (viral or non‑viral)
Experience with flow cytometry, Western Blot, PCRs.
Accreditation for animal experimentation. xhfqzwm
Fluorescence microscopy experience or similar
Experience in translational science or startup environments
Profile
Strong execution mindset. You get things done reliably and efficiently
Detail‑oriented but able to move fast
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
High level of ownership and accountability
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
What We Offer
Direct contribution to a technology platform with clear clinical ambition)
Opportunity to work on cutting‑edge technologies for in vivo cellular engineering
High‑impact work with potential for authorship in leading scientific publications
A fast‑growing, ambitious team operating between Europe and the US
Competitive compensation based on experience
Access to a top‑tier research environment at Parc Científic de Valencia in our brand‑new laboratories
