Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a Business Developer with experience in selling Automation, Software / digital, and electrical solutions to identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the Spanish market. The main goal will be acquiring new clients and expanding our presence in major national accounts. You will be mainly accountable for:
1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Spanish market.
2. Prospect and manage relationships with new major national accounts and expand high-level relationships in those existing.
3. Design and execute commercial strategies for selling Automation, Digital, and electrical solutions and associated services.
4. Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations) to tailor solutions to customer needs.
5. Negotiate contracts and close business deals.
6. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
7. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Qualifications for the role
1. Engineering degree or a similar qualification is required.
2. Previous experience in business development, sales, or consulting in the Automation and technology sector.
3. Knowledge of the Automation / Digital solutions market and associated products.
4. Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
5. Ability to work independently and results-driven.
6. Excellent communication and networking skills.
7. Availability to travel nationally and eventually internationally.
8. High proficiency in Spanish (native preferred) and English.
