Due to our continuous growth, PQE Group is seeking a C&Q Engineer to support commissioning and qualification activities on a major biopharmaceutical facility. The candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team and work closely with engineering, QA, validation, and construction teams to ensure that systems and equipment meet regulatory and operational standards before handover.
The ideal candidate is comfortable to travel to client sites, depending on the project phase and on-site activity needs.
Responsibilities
* Support commissioning and qualification (C&Q) activities for utilities, equipment, and cleanroom systems.
* Assist in the preparation and execution of C&Q protocols (IQ/OQ) in compliance with GMP requirements.
* Coordinate with design, construction, and quality teams to ensure timely readiness of systems for qualification.
* Perform field verification, walkdowns, punch listing, and follow-up on resolution of deviations.
* Participate in risk assessments and ensure alignment with project validation strategy.
* Document all activities in accordance with GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
* Collaborate with vendors and contractors for equipment testing and turnover.
Required Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of experience in C&Q or validation roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
* Familiarity with GMP regulations, commissioning processes, and qualification protocols (IQ/OQ).
* Ability to interpret P&IDs, technical drawings, and URS/FAT/SAT documents.
* Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
* Strong team player with good communication and documentation skills.
* Experience with clean utilities, HVAC, process equipment, or automation systems is a plus.
