Space Product Assurance Engineer

We´re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a Space Product Assurance Engineer; with passion in what you do, talented and experienced; to help ensure that our products and services maintain the highest quality standards.
What you will be doing?
1. Organization’s Quality Policy
2. ISO 9001 certification: maintenance, audits, and follow-up of actions
3. Internal and external audits
4. Process and standards review, identification of customer requirements
5. Preparation, review, and control of quality plans, technical instructions, and procedures
6. Management and communication of quality indicators and improvement proposals
7. Identification and follow-up of risks, anomalies, and Non-Conformities
8. Definition and implementation of Product/Project Quality Assurance Plans
9. Quality support to other areas of the organization, such as Production or AIV (Assembly, Integration & Verification)
10. Process, product, or supplier quality inspections
11. Future evolution towards ISO 9100 certification
What do we need in our team
12. A degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Electronic, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
13. Experience in managing ISO 9001 Quality Systems.
14. At least 3 years of previous experience performing the functions described above.
Valuable knowledge:
15. A Master's degree related to the Quality field.
16. Formal training in Quality Management Systems.
17. Knowledge of:
ECSS standards (European Cooperation for Space Standardization)
AS/EN 9100 standard (Aerospace Quality Management)
IPC standards (Electronics Industry)
Dimensional metrology
Candidate qualifications and skills
18. Work remotely a percentage of the time to be defined with the manager
